Students will have the option to participate in some or all of the programs listed below.

Featuring 

Twas the Night Before Christmas in Quarantine (Online Program) 

Adding a comic twist with 2020 in mind as we retell the classic story but in Quarantine.  Rehearsed and performed online. This will be the show that will make audiences laugh through all the craziness 2020 has brought us. Rehearsals on Tuesdays 5:35-7:10pm ONLINE.

A Quarantine Review: Only For Now (Combo Online or In Person Program)

Turning popular musical songs into funny and inspiring stories. A musical review with solos and group numbers showcasing the talents of our participants. Rehearsals on Fridays 5:00-6:00pm (ONLINE) and some Saturdays 3:00-4:30pm IN PERSON.

Christmas on Broadway (Music online, Dance in Person)

Performing Christmas numbers from popular holiday shows.  Numbers from Elf The musical, The Happy Elf and more in a review of amazing musical theatre songs with a Christmas theme,  Rehearsals on Fridays 6:00-7:00pm ONLINE and some Saturdays 3:00-4:30pm IN PERSON.

Holiday Sketchfest/Improv Show (In Person Program)

Bringing live comedy in the form of sketches and improv to audiences with favorite Holiday themes. Students will work on sketches and/or improv games to perform for the holiday show. Rehearsals on Fridays 7:30-8:30pm IN PERSON.

Registration & Fees

   ♦ All participants must register online before auditioning.

   ♦ Cast Member Fee: $175 per participant + $50 registration fee.

FUNDRAISING/VOLUNTEERING- Families will need to fundraise or work a certain amount of volunteer hours. More info will be given at the Parent Meeting. Families who participate in BOTH fundraising and volunteering will earn certain perks.

COVID 19 Precautions and Measures

We understand families have different beliefs and opinions on how to navigate the current pandemic.  We are doing our best to accommodate all families by offering an IN PERSON option and an ONLINE option. There will never be more than 15 students called at a time for rehearsals, tech, and recording.

The rehearsal process will begin ONLINE. The first few rehearsals we will read & sing through and set up students for the audition process. After auditions, Tuesday rehearsals will be online and Friday & Saturday rehearsals will move to in-person rehearsals. All Music rehearsals will be ONLINE for the safety of everyone. 

When we begin In-person rehearsals, we will have zoom access for those who prefer to join us virtually. In-Person rehearsals will require masks and social distancing. Only those called will be allowed at rehearsals, everyone else is welcome to watch on ZOOM.

We want everyone to have an opportunity to participate.  Please communicate with us regarding your concerns and how we can best accommodate your student.

TECH AND RECORDING

During this weekend, some students will be called to tech and recording at certain call times with no more than a limited amount of students allowed on site.  Once a scene is set, students will be released.  For filming, the goal is to shoot each scene twice, then release students.  The final product will be edited then live streamed the week of December 22-24, 2020. STUDENTS WILL NOT NEED TO BE PRESENT FOR LIVE STREAM DATES AND TIMES.  

COSTUME POLICY

Due to current pandemic conditions, and in order to maintain hygiene protocols, we will not be providing costumes for this production. Parents will need to rent/make/order costumes and clean/wash costumes as necessary during the week of tech & recording.  We will give out more info on costuming after casting. Students will arrive in costume as there will be no dressing rooms on site and to maintain precautions.

Auditions

   ♦ Make sure you complete an Audition Form online.

   ♦ Students will submit a video audition by the deadline or get in-person audition time.
