ANNIE, THE MUSICAL JR

Based on the popular comic strip and adapted from the Tony Award-winning Best Musical, with a beloved book and score by Tony Award winners, Thomas Meehan, Charles Strouse and Martin Charnin, Annie JR. features everyone’s favorite little redhead in her very first adventure. With equal measures of pluck and positivity, little orphan Annie charms everyone's hearts despite a next-to-nothing start in 1930s New York City. Annie is determined to find the parents who abandoned her years ago on the doorstep of an orphanage run by the cruel Miss Hannigan. Annie eventually foils Miss Hannigan's evil machinations, finding a new home and family in billionaire Oliver Warbucks, his personal secretary, Grace Farrell, and a lovable mutt named Sandy.Students will audition, rehearse and perform LIVE ON STAGE at the Vacaville Performing Arts Theatre, November , 2025.

Audition Workshop held on Saturday, August 29, 2026 12:30pm-2pm at the Studio.

Rehearsals start September 2, 2026.  Rehearsals held on Tuesdays, 5-7pm, Wednesdays 6:30pm-8pm(8:30pm for Leads), and Saturdays 11am-1:30pm

The first week of rehearsal we will teach students the singing/vocal audition and acting auditions. On the second week we will hold a mock audition practice for students. On Saturday, we will hold auditions. Once you join the BAND app for the production, you will have access to the sign up for auditions when the link is posted.

Saturday, November 7, 2026 CAST A 10am-2pm, CAST B 2pm-6pm
