THE WIZARD OF OZ, Community Partnership Production with Solano Community Players

Step into the magical world of Oz and become part of an unforgettable journey! The Wizard of Oz will be a community partnership production with Starbound Theatre and Solano Community Players. As a member of our Youth Ensemble, your student will have the opportunity to perform alongside talented adults from the local theatre community, gain invaluable experience and learn from seasoned actors. This is a unique chance to grow their skills, build confidence, and make lasting friendships in a supportive and creative environment. Whether they are a first-time performer or already love being on stage, our ensemble welcomes kids of all levels who are ready to shine. Don’t miss out on this incredible adventure down the yellow brick road!

Roles available in the Youth Ensemble:
 • Munchkins (ages 6-12)
 • Poppies (ages 6-12)
 • Winkies (ages 8-18)
 • Flying Monkeys (ages 8-18)
 • Ozians (ages 8-18 and some of the Adult Ensemble)

Please note: within each of these ensemble categories there are some roles that have lines. If your student would like to be considered for a spoken role, please indicate on the audition form. There will be a production packet that goes out to families prior to auditions for the Youth Ensemble. 

Auditions will be held on March 8, 2025 from 10am-2pm.  More information will be posted in the BAND app for the production.

Youth Ensemble rehearsals begin April 8, 2025 and are held on Tuesdays, 5:30pm-7:30pm and Saturdays 10am-2pm.

Production performs at the Vacaville Performing Arts Theatre, May 15- May 17, 2025.
